Location & Transportation
Zadar’s cruise terminal is a modern, spacious facility that officially opened on April 24, 2019. It serves both smaller ships and larger cruise vessels that dock in Gaženica, about 4 km from the Old Town. Although the terminal is not right in the historic center, getting into town is simple:
- A dedicated shuttle bus service (at approximately 15 Euros, if available through your cruise line) will drop you off near the Sea Organ, one of Zadar’s most famous attractions.
- You can also catch a local bus right at the port. Take bus #9 (Liburnija bus line) to the central bus station, then switch to bus #2 or #4 which will bring you straight to the Old Town at the Sea Organ.
- Taxis are available for a more direct ride.
