Location & Transportation
The Port of Vancouver is a bustling cruise hub and the starting point for the popular Vancouver-USA cruise. The terminal at Canada Place is just a few minutes’ walk from many downtown attractions. I’ve found that getting around here is a breeze thanks to the efficient public transit system.
• Vancouver’s extensive SkyTrain network features three lines—the Expo Line, Millennium Line, and Canada Line—that connect downtown to surrounding areas.
• The Cruise Ship terminal is only a couple of hundred feet from the Canada Line waterfront station, making transfers very convenient.
• YVR International Airport, located in Richmond, is easily accessible via the Canada Line. A taxi ride from the airport typically costs around $35. Uber and Lyft also operate in the area.
