Location & Transportation
I’ve found that arriving in Paris by river cruise is a magical experience. There are two main ports along the Seine – one at Quai André Citroën and the other at Quai de Grenelle in the 15th Arrondissement. They are just 1.4 miles apart. What’s even better is that Quai de Grenelle is only about 0.6 miles from the Eiffel Tower, while Quai André Citroën (also known as Port de Javel Bas) is roughly 2 miles away. From either port, you can easily hop on a bus or taxi to explore the city's heart.
Nearby Lodging
For those looking to extend their stay or start the day with a bit of luxury, there are plenty of hotels nearby. I love the quaint boutique hotels along the river – perfect for soaking up Parisian charm. Consider options like Hôtel Le Walt or other well-reviewed hotels in the central arrondissements.
Nearest Airport
If you’re flying in or out, the major hub is Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), which is about 15 miles from the center of Paris. Orly Airport is also an option and offers excellent connections to the city via train or taxi.
