St. Maarten has a wonderful new cruise terminal that can dock up to seven cruise ships at a time. From the terminal, you have several ways to start your adventure:
- A water taxi runs continuously for just $4 one way, dropping you along the beach promenade.
- If you prefer a stroll, it’s about a 10-minute walk into town.
- Land taxis are readily available; rides into town cost around $3 one way. You'll also find a few shops right in the terminal, perfect for picking up a quick souvenir before you head out.
