Traveling around Lipari is relaxed, with local taxis available (in limited numbers) if you need a quicker ride. For those arriving by air, the nearest airport is Catania Fontanarossa in Sicily, roughly a 90 km journey away. Ferries and buses connect the airport to Lipari, though transfers can take some time.
