Location & Transportation
Ships currently dock at Jaxport's Dames Point Cruise Terminal (9810 August Drive, Jaxport). Although most larger cruise ships avoid the terminal due to height restrictions, the port remains busy while plans for a new cruise terminal are underway.
The terminal is about a 15-minute drive from downtown Jacksonville and even closer to the airport. For instance, a taxi ride from Jacksonville International Airport (flyjacksonville.com) takes around 15 minutes and costs about $30. If you're driving, parking at the terminal is available for roughly $15 a day.
Nearest Airport
Jacksonville International Airport is very convenient for cruise passengers arriving or departing the city. It’s easy to connect by taxi or rideshare, making your transit between the port and the airport quick and hassle-free.
