Location & Transportation
Greenwich Pier is situated on the picturesque River Thames in the London borough of Greenwich. It’s operated by London River Services and serves as a hub for various river cruise operators traveling to and from Central London. I love how the area’s rich maritime history is evident from the riverside views and historic landmarks. It’s a short walk from many of Greenwich’s attractions, and if you’re keen to see more, I highly recommend taking the river boat service to Tower Bridge—an enjoyable and scenic journey costing about £6 each way. You can, of course, also opt for London’s buses, underground, or light rail if you’re heading further into the city.
