For decades no visit to Dingle was complete without a nod to its most famous resident: Fungie, the wild bottlenose dolphin who charmed the harbor from 1983 until he vanished in October 2020. Though Fungie is sadly gone, the harbor boat tours still run, and I highly recommend hopping aboard one to watch for seals, seabirds, and other marine life while soaking up the stunning coastal scenery.
